The team behind the CompLing Databank

Gerd Carling is Professor of Comparative Linguistics and department head of the Institute for Empirical Linguistics at Goethe University, Frankfurt am Main. She is main editor of the CompLing Databank. She was previously in Lund, where she founded the DiACL database, which is now part of the CompLing resource.

Jost Gippert is Professor Emeritus in Comparative Linguistics, formerly department head of the Institute for Empirical Linguistics at Goethe University. He is the founder and main editor of the TITUS database that is integrated into the database TITUS 2.0, as well as the corpora and lexica of the CompLing Databank.

Maria Kofer is PhD in Comparative Linguistics and Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiter at the Institute for Empirical Linguistics, Goethe University, Frankfurt am Main. She is working with corpora and metadata for data sets in TITUS 2.0

Florian Matter is PhD in Linguistics at University of Bern. He is the constructor and programmer of the database TITUS 2.0.

Natalia PatiƱo Mazzotti is BA in Comparative Linguistics at Goethe University. She has been working with the georeferencing of language polygons from the TITUS database to the new DiACL/TITUS Polygon Archive of the CompLing Databank.
Rob Verhoeven is MSc. in Engineering and BA in Comparative Linguistics from Leiden University. He is the constructor of the DiACL database and has rebuilt the interface of DiACL for integration in the CompLing Databank.
Samira Shiroud Ghorbanian is BA student in Comparative Linguistics at Goethe University. She has been working with metadata for the TITUS 2.0 database.
The team of the NFDI consortium Text+, including Kilian Hensen (CCeH, University of Cologne), Tobias Gradl (Media Informatics, University of Bamberg), and Felix Rau (DCH, University of Cologne) have contributed with input on the organization of metadata in TITUS 2.0.
